Description: This elegant mahogany server was hand-crafted in England around 1910, during the Edwardian period. Since then, the wood has come to acquire a lovely patina, which nicely complements the natural beauty of the mahogany. The lower doors are quarter-veneered and feature an oval of flame mahogany inlay surrounded by an accentual, carved ring. Each drawer features hand-cut, dovetailed joints, a sign of fine craftsmanship. Although the lower doors feature brass escutcheons, no key accompanies this piece; also, the server rests on pad feet. Condition remains very good, although the piece does have scratches and a bit of wear. This mahogany server would certainly make a fine addition to any home--don't miss your chance to own it today!
