Item Description:
This is a gorgeous antique English 6ft barley twist buffet sideboard server. It has a very beautiful shaped top surface with a distinguished backsplash that has decorative carvings. The backsplash is slightly warped but as shown it is easily overlooked. It features 2 cabinets that have a total of 4 shelves, 2 removable, and they have gorgeous paneled doors adorned with fancy fretwork, octagonal frames and carved scrolls. Both doors have locks with 1 key present. One door is missing its pull but it works well as it is. There are 3 smooth operating drawers with dovetail joinery, one of them is felt lined with dividers, and they have beautiful large brass pulls. This buffet has beautiful barley twist legs with a box stretcher and flat bun feet.
This piece may show minor age appropriate signs of wear and wood imperfections
otherwise it is overall in very good cosmetic and structural condition and it is strong and sturdy. From the elegant design to quality build this piece of furniture will bring many years of convenience and pleasure to your home.
