Item Description:
This is a handsome antique English original oil painting of William Wilson on canvas. It has an exquisite large gold wood frame richly embellished with fretwork decorations all around its edge and sides, and for its age it is in very good condition even though it has some age appropriate chips and imperfections which can be touched up if necessary. The frame has a gorgeous original hand painted portrait of William Wilson stretched on canvas which was as titled, “Presented to William Wilson by his friends in the meat trade June 4th 1926.” The back includes hanging hooks and the canvas is protected by a wooden back. Overall this piece is in very good condition for its age and it will make a great presentation in any room it is chosen to be displayed at.
