Description: These unique wall plaques are from Japan. They are sold as a pair. I believe they are post WWII, probably from the 50's but are in excellent condition. 6" tall on a 4" base. They are designed as wall plaques (hangers included on rear) but the base is 1" deep and they do stand freely. They are white porcelain, trimmed with gold and the background is a stunning orange felt material that was applied to the porcelain. Very unique! A truly beautiful set and priced right.
