Description: Baroque Carved and GILT WOOD WALL CLOCK with a modern JUNGHANS MOVEMENT fitted later. The wood has been re gilded with Gold leaf about 40 or 50 years ago and the back has been resealed. Also silvered. I think the face is original. Late 18th early 19th century from Austria. Very decorative piece over a foot long. There is some writing in German just above the movement case that I am unable to read. Please see my other items for more. Offers and inquiries welcomed.
