Description: This is a hardcover cookbook. It is called the BluBird Flour Cookbook It was published in 1923 by the millers of the Blu Bird flour Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.. It was written by Ellye Howell Glover. You will find some spots, discoloration and markings in the margins but nothing drastic. There are some pencil notes throughout the book. I don't see any torn pages. There is wear to the cover as seen in the pictures. There are 1542 recipes and each recipe was tested and found to be practical. This book was a premium for the company. You could get it for ten coupons. The coupons were found in the flour when you bought it. There is also information on the milling process in the book which is quite interesting. It is in good condition for it's age. This Blu Bird Flour cookbook is a classic and would be a great book for a new cook or an older wise one.
