Description: THE ULTIMATE IN FUNCTION AND BEAUTY!!This clock set is everywhere, and on every chimney an absolutely eye catcher, and a real collector piece that you will never get again.We were lucky to acquire this very rare clock set ,that dates 1870, from a lovely private estate in the South of France near Cannes.Perfect running and striking condition with 8 days going work and the 1/1 and 1/2 hours striking on a bronze silvered bell.The movement is cleanded by an official clock maker and is driving on a SILK suspension,is in wonderful condition, run reliably and keep accurate time.The clock is provided with original pendulum and key.The silvered dial with the roman numerals and the steel hands are gorgeous.The clock set comprise a marvelous clock with two lovely sidepieces.The clock set is made of the finest Carrara marble and decorated with brone gilt ornaments.On top of the clock is a beautiful bronze oriental woman at a well with a water jug.Look at the detailed carved long dress of the woman!The bronze representation has a beautiful brown patina!!
