Description: German carte de visite of mother and baby. Photographer is A & F Naumann, Leipzig. Woman has very Victorian dress - leg of mutton sleeves. Baby wears a long gown with a little pill-box style hat. Writing on back, but can’t translate it. Card measures 10.5 cm by 6.3 cm (4.1/8 inches by 2.1/2 inches). It has been cut down a little at one side, as the border is missing. Charming subject - very proud mum.
