Description:
This Edward VIII English sterling silver four piece tea and coffee service is made in the Art Deco style. It has a rectangular, plain, cut cornered form and the pieces have swept feet. The teapot and coffee jug have flush, hinged, hallmarked lids and they are fitted with painted wood and silver finials. They are both fitted with painted wood handles. The service is an extremely good gauge of silver and is very good quality. Dimensions: Teapot: height: 13cm / 5.25", width from the back of the handle to the spout: 27cm / 10.5", depth: 11cm / 4.25". Coffee jug: height to top of finial: 17cm / 6.75", length from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout: 20cm / 7.75", depth: 9.5cm / 3.75".Total weight: 52 troy ounces / 1625g approximately .Alternative images and further information supplied on request.
