Description:
These hand painted, hand blown elongated teardrop Christmas Ornaments were made in the 1950's. One is marked on the cap: Poland and the other is Unmarked. The first Polish ornaments were imported to the United States in the late 1940's. In 1953 the United States imported $367,000 worth of glass Christmas tree ornaments from Poland according to my Christmas Through The Decades Book by Robert Brenner. With mica glitter, the one marked Poland in colors of orange, lavander and purple measures 6 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide while the Unmarked one in colors of red, gold, blue and magenta measures 5 inches long and 1 1/8 inches wide. A wonderful addition to any Vintage Tree Ornament Collection. SH & Ins will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions feel free to contact me and thank you for looking.
