Description: This is an exquisite card table in the French Empire style. There is no mistaking its quality and unique design, which is certain to add a special something to your home, wherever you choose to place it. The table is extendable and is twice the size when open as when closed. The edge is surrounded with ornate ormolu mounts in sections. The legs are cylindrical in profile. The table top surface is crossbanded and intricately inlaid with attractive marquetry designs. The table features mahogany, satinwood, and a mixture of other fruitwoods. Ormolu is an imitation of gold and was widely used during the 19th century.
