Description: Fabulous Doulton & Co. plate with unusual scallop-like edging,with hand painted blue and golden floral design. The interior of the scalloped border is air brushed with a fine gold and surrounded by a circular gilded edge. The border of the plate is a lovely rococco design outlined in deep red and bordered in white with a gilded edge. You really have to see this beauty - check out the picture. Absolutely mint - no chips, cracks, or marks of any kind. The back of the plate has the Doulton & Co. Burslem mark and a hand painted number that I believe is 61733. There is a small circular mark with a dot underneath that.
