Description:
This is a wonderful pair of Sheraton style walnut occasional tables with a satinwood inlay. These stunning tables will instantly enhance the style of one special room in your home and are sure to get noticed wherever they are placed. You cannot mistake the fine quality and design of these Sheraton style tables. These lovely oval shaped tables are very versatile and can be used as beside tables, coffee tables or display tables. The tables were inspired by the style of Sheraton and are made of walnut. They feature a striking satinwood inlay. Sheraton is a style characterised by delicate straight lines, light construction, contrasting veneers, and neoclassical motifs and ornamentation. Named for the designer and author, Thomas Sheraton, this style was popular in late 18th and early 19th Century England. Both tables have drawers for storage and a shelf just above the feet. The tables are finished with decorative ormolu detailing on the mounts, the feet and around the side of the drawers. Ormolu is an imitation of gold and is used to ornament furniture and moldings.
