I am offering a wonderful antique/vintage pair of bookends featuring a Mandolin playing gent., circa 1920s, made by Pompeian Bronze Company, which operated out of Brooklyn, NY. One original paper labels on the bottom of one of the bookends. Each bookend has an encircled "c" and "P. Manfredi" on the backsided. The bookends are approx. 5.5" tall . Nice weighted pair, weighing approx. 4.4 pounds. Great rich, warm patina. Original bronzed clad finish over gray metal. Age and use appropriate surface wear. Very presentable. Real charmers.
