Description: This is a great renaissance walnut matching bed and dresser from the 1870's. This is a large set with the bed measuring over 9 feet tall. The dresser is 8 1/2 feet tall. It has a great crest across the top of both pieces. The bed has a wonderful arched headboard with lots of applied carvings and a rounded footboard. The dresser is the deep well model with a long mirror, candle sconce shelf on both sides, and three original pieces of white marble. I do have the provinance of this set and it had always been in the same family since its original purchase. Suites like this one are seldom for sale. It has a great finish and is ready for your home.
