Description:
1906 Vintage Art Nouveau Murad Cigarette Ad with colorful At the French Ball/Masquerade theme. Taken from a 1906 issue of Life Magazine this is a wonderful example of early ads done for the Murad company, purveyors of fine tobacco for the haute monde of New York a century ago. Devils, Maiden's fair and Indian chiefs all revel together hopping to rag-time tunes in an elegant venue, all enjoying the best of life's luxuries which of course included Murad cigarettes. Cigarette ad copy could only mention smoking when it came to women at this time- note that none of them are indulging as the men folk do. Ad measures 9 x 12 is in good overall condition bright and sharp. Fantastic feel of luxury and splendor note the attitude of joy and reckless abandon typical for the Edwardian period!

I offer USPS and also Ups depending upon buyers choice. Most items that measure under 12 x16 can fit easily into a priority flat rate box for around $10.00 contingent upon weight.
