Description: 4 1/2" wide vintage early 1900's Cinderella Face Beautifier label. Unused old factory stock from the Dr. Blumer's plant in Chicago. Excellent condition. Two things of note. These labels do not have a size or weight listed which was required by law after around 1910, meaning they were made before that time. Also, the Cinderella story has a really interesting history. It dates all the way back to China in the 9th century. It became popular all over the world in the late 1850s when it was retold by the Grimm brothers. It made another comeback on stage in the late 1800s and was repopularized again by Disney around 1950.
